This Introduction to Crystal Healing Workshop will provide students with a thorough grounding in the basic techniques and theory of crystal healing, including how to choose a crystal, care for a crystal, grounding and protection, chakra balancing and how to use crystals in your daily life. Students will learn 'hands on' techniques for the placement of crystals on and around the body. During this 1 day workshop you will learn how to give a simple crystal therapy treatment for relaxation to friends and family and enjoy the benefits of receiving one as you practice the techniques taught in pairs

These workshops are suitable for the complete beginner or for qualified therapists to use within their work. Learn about the many uses of crystals and their subtle energies.
The cost includes a set of chakra crystals for you to take away with you to start practising immediately.

Colours
The effects of colour on our moods, health, thoughts and feelings have been studied by scientists for years. Our preference for one colour over another may be related to the way that colour makes us feel.
Different colours are visible light energy of certain wavelengths. Photoreceptors in the retina, called cones, translate this energy into colours. When the energy of colour enters our bodies, it stimulates the pituitary and pineal glands which affects the production of certain hormones. This can affect a variety of physiological processes and explains why colour has been found to have such a direct influence on our thoughts, moods, and behaviour
Colour seems to have an effect even on blind people, who are thought to sense colour as a result of energy vibrations created within the body. Today the therapeutic applications of light and colour are being investigated in major hospitals and research centres worldwide. Results indicate that full-spectrum, ultraviolet, coloured, and laser light can have therapeutic value for a range of conditions from chronic pain and depression to immune disorders
This Introduction to Colour Therapy Workshop will provide students with a thorough grounding in the basic techniques and theory of colour therapy and how to use colour at home to promote health and wellbeing. Students will learn 'hands on' techniques for the placement of coloured cloths on the body

Crystal healing is a powerful way to deal with emotional and physical ailments. This type of healing is part of a larger field known as energy work. In crystal healing, the vibrational energies of the crystals work with the vibrational energies of the body and help balance the body's energy channels and free them from any blockages.Crystals are made up of minerals, just as our bodies are. Therefore, there is a natural affinity between crystals and humans. Although some may look like simple stones, crystals are anything but. They are filled with vibrating energy, energy that we can tap into to assist & support the healing of our bodies. Both crystal healing and "chakras" have been around since ancient times. Both approaches believe that the body's natural energy can be thrown out of balance creating physical and emotional ailments such as depression, blocked arteries, an inability to focus and lethargy for example. Crystals are like amplifiers of energy, working to focus and strengthen the positive while clearing energy blockages. Your body works the same as a crystal, so you must finely tune your own energy and clarify your intentions before working on yourself or others

You and your Crystals
Please do communicate with your Crystals. According to some Native American beliefs, Crystals can communicate while existing on multiple dimensions. They offer us information we cannot reach ourselves, and they promote harmonic symmetry and perfection within the world. You must become friends with the crystal energies you work with so that they can reveal their purpose to you.
Crystals can be marvellous Teachers/Allys as well as Healers
Decorate your body and home with crystals that attract you as well as serve a specific purpose of Healing for example. Speak to them daily and give them to others. Carry them in your pockets when they call out to you. If you have a strong desire to sleep with a crystal under your pillow do it. If you feel someone needs a crystal, give it away
Let the Crystal go if you feel someone else needs the healing energy. The more you work with crystals, the more they will appear in your life when needed. Some crystals may ask to be made into a necklace or charm and stay with you forever, while others may need to be gifted to someone else or used in ritual practice. Remember that crystals are free spirits and they should guide you, not vice versa. We can not own the Stone People, they are here for all of Humankind, they are our Teachers, our Healers & wise Elders we should act with regard & respect
Use your intuition and 6th sense to determine which Crystals you need. Let the crystals tell you how and when to use them.Some Native Americans believe that a human cannot teach another human how to heal with Crystals, as the Crystals themselves are the Teachers. After many years of communicating with the spirits within the Crystals, using them to heal in various situations will come naturally, like an instinct.
Guide to self healing at home
You will need one large rock/clear Quartz
Go to a quiet place, alone, where you will not be disturbed for at least 10 minutes. Stand in the center of the floor.
Pick up a large white quartz Crystal
Drop your arms down to your sides, holding the crystal in your right hand
Close your eyes
Imagine a white light coming up from the floor….. Imagine it traveling through your feet, up through your legs….., up to your stomach and through your chest. Imagine it traveling down your arms and out of your hands.Now imagine tha light traveling out of your right hand and through the crystal. Imagine the crystal glowing with the light. “Feel” it getting warm.
Touch: When you feel your crystal getting almost too hot to hold, touch it to the part of your body that needs healing. Feel the heat penetrating your skin. Imagine the crystals energy pulsing through & healing your body
You may experience a tingling sensation, heat or even coolness all of which are totally normal. You may not actually experience any of the above, just hold in your mind that the Crystal Energy IS Healing you
Intent & focus are very important aids
Bring the crystal up to your face, holding it about an inch away from your eyes. Slowly move it down your body, over your neck and then over your heart and your solar plexus, your abdomen and then your pelvis. Again hold the intent & focus your mind that the Crystal Energy is now Cleansing your Energy
This movement will totally cleanse your chakras of any negative energy
Repeat this crystal healing ritual once a week for perfect health
Colour Therapy
What is Colour Therapy? Colour Therapy is based on the ancient art of using colour and light to treat disease.
Practitioners believe that by altering the colours that surround us, it is possible to enhance health and well-being
The earliest forms of therapy included the use of coloured gems and sunlight. There is now a wide range of treatment options available and many practitioners combine the use of colour with other complementary therapies such as aromatherapy, massage, reflexology, crystals and yoga.
What are the principles of colour Therapy? The human body absorbs light that is made up of the colour spectrum. Each colour in the spectrum has a frequency, wavelength and energy associated with it. The colours we absorb can have an effect on the nervous system, the endocrine system and subsequently on the release of hormones and other organic substances within the human body. They can also have an effect on the more subtle energies of the chakra system. This may affect our mental, emotional, psychological and physical states of health.
The symptoms of disease are a sign that there is a shortage of, or improper utilization of colour and light in the cells and organs of the human body. This may be due to factors such as our lifestyle, our environment, stress or too much, or too little of a particular colour frequency in our energy system. This imbalance can be corrected by the selective use of colour frequencies. The forms by which the frequencies of colour can be transmitted to the body are numerous.
